Launch of the InvestEU Programme will take place ONLINE on 18 March 2021

The promotion of recovery, green growth, employment and well-being across Europe is one of the EU’s top priorities, supporting investment that delivers real benefits and makes a difference at the local level.

InvestEU will provide the EU with crucial long-term funding, crowding in private investment in support of a sustainable recovery from the coronavirus pandemic and helping build a greener, more digital and more resilient European economy.

Altfinator Project aims to increase the capacity of the financial ecosystem to improve innovative SMEs’ access to alternative finance in Europe. As part of its activities, Altfinator is launching the first edition of its massive open online courses on Alternative Finance. The goal is to help participants navigate the world of Alternative Finance and Fintech. The course is designed to provide both basic and advanced knowledge about crowdfunding, invoice trading, VC, risk assessment, or fintech.

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and the European Union (EU) are stepping up their support with a new €20 million pilot programme helping innovative small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and mid-cap companies in 

The European Council confirmed in Brussels yesterday the set-up of an European Innovation Council for market-creating innovation under the next EU long-term budget. The Council also invited the Commission to launch a new pilot initiative on breakthrough innovation within the remaining time of Horizon 2020.
