WORKSHOP:Attracting international researchers to apply for Marie Skłodowska-Curie Individual Fellowships at TU Dresden 5 – 7 June 2019 A 3-day workshop on writing a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Individual Fellowship proposal and pursue your career at Technische Universität Dresden (TUD)Aims and Rules: The aim of the workshop is to attract suitable candidates to apply together with a Professor or group leader at TUD for a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Individual Fellowship. Potential applicants have to be in possession of a doctoral degree (at the date of the call deadline, 11.09.2019) or must have 4 years of research experience. Moreover, researchers must not have resided in Germany for more than 12 months in the last 3 years (at the date of the call deadline, 11.9.2019). The workshop will be held at TUD.Workshop Contents - Proposal writing clinic (3 days):
- Learn basic principles and key aspects of the MSCA-IF funding programme
- Get advice on the different sections of the proposal
- Discuss common pitfalls with researchers, evaluators and successful fellows
- Get to know key infrastructures and services at TUD regarding soft skill acquisition, open access services and welcome culture
- Develop the work plan for your project - Meet your supervisor
- Meet your future supervising researcher and her/his group
- Get to know key facilities you need to conduct your research project
- Define your research objectives and sketch out sections of the proposal
