The Health Directorate of DG Research and Innovation is organising a conference on research and innovation for Maternal and Newborn Health on 8 December in Brussels, and we wish to ask for your assistance in spreading word of this event among your stakeholders.This event will feature discussions by high-level speakers and expert panels on what research and innovation can do to make the difference in the field of Maternal and Newborn Health under the Sustainable Development Goals. The event will also discuss the successful actions already taken under the Millennium Development Goals and analyse those which proved to be inefficient.The conference will take place in Square Meeting Centre, Brussels, and will feature participation from a wide array of stakeholders including: researchers, policymakers, health practitioners, research funders, advocates, and NGOs active in low- and middle-income countries.Please see the website for further information and the draft agenda.
