The TIDE project (Transport Innovation Deployment for Europe) ends this September after three years of cooperation on innovative urban mobility. The Final Conference will take place in Barcelona on 15-16 September. You will be able to find out about the project's achievements, tools and recommendations.
The TIDE final conference will be an opportunity to present the project results and discuss them with a wide community of transport technicians and decision makers. The conference will examine the results from the five clusters, and will allow for plenty of interaction.
Presentations will be combined with technical demonstrations of how the measures work in practice, including a visit to the construction of Barcelona's metro line 9.
The mission of the TIDE project was to enhance the broad transfer and take-up of 15 innovative urban transport and mobility measures throughout Europe and to make a visible contribution to establish them as mainstream measures.
TIDE focused on 15 innovative measures in five thematic clusters: financing models and pricing measures, non-motorised transport, network and traffic management to support traveller information, electric vehicles and public transport organisation. Sustainable Urban Mobility Plans was a horizontal topic to integrate the cluster activities.
