Go green, make savings! This workshop offers advice on how to improve SME resource efficiency, including cost savings, productivity gains, and reduced material inputs (savings potential of 55-75% in some sectors).Concrete examples from England, Belgium and Spain will demonstrate the potential for SMEs and how European Structural and Investment Funds (ESIF) can be utilised in the transition towards the green, low-carbon economy. Resource efficiency is one of the main drivers of companies’ competitiveness, so this is an opportunity to find out how the EU can support SMEs to become greener and get involved in circular value chains, both within Europe and internationally. Target audience:- EU, national, regional and local policy/decision makers- Authorities managing and evaluating cohesion policy programmes and projects- Other stakeholders: private companies, financial institutions, European and national associations
