A proposal for ICT-14-2016-2017 "Big Data PPP: cross-sectorial and cross-lingual data integration and experimentation" will develop an open-source, scalable, collaborative platform in view of making available massive amounts of multilingual data (covering at least 24 languages). SMEs interested in providing use cases for this platform are sought.

A consortium is currently preparing a proposal for ICT-14-2016-2017: "Big Data PPP: cross-sectorial and cross-lingual data integration and experimentation" (scope b) aiming at developing an efficient open-source, scalable, collaborative platform in view of making available massive amounts of multilingual data (covering at least 24 languages), as well as all necessary tools to quickly build and test state-of-the-art Natural Language Processing systems. The foreseen platform (scheduled to become available towards the end of 2017) would also deal with all privacy and legal aspects, as well as IPR management (privacy-by-design).

In case the proposal is selected for funding, a large part (5M€/3 years) of its total budget will be used to fund mini-projects (50-100k€/project) for experimentation and/or testing of new use cases and product prototypes on the incubator platform.
