Description:
Involving 54 months of laboratory, field experiments and mathematical modelling, 22 research groups in 15 countries (and 2 continents), the AMIGA project is quite possibly the largest ever concerted effort to provide stakeholders, academia and society at large with scientifically sound results on the sustainability and practical indications on environmental risk assessment for genetically modified plants.
This final conference will present the results of the project and its recommendations for policy making. The conference is expected to gather stakeholders from different areas of expertise, including scientists, policy makers and other relevant representatives of the sector.
