Public consultation on Standards in the Digital Single Market: setting priorities and ensuring delivery

With this consultation, the Commission seeks input from stakeholders to achieve broad convergence around a set of priority standards in key technology areas sufficiently mature and critical to achieving the Digital Sigle Market (DSM) and time-tables for their development, which are sufficiently mature and critical to achieving the DSM. Views are sought from national, regional and local authorities, European Standards Organisations and other standards development organisations, national regulators, industry associations, fora and consortia, corporations, SMEs and micro companies, civil society organisations, academia and citizens.

Consultation period: 23 September to 4 January 2015. Responses received after the closing date will not be considered.

Please state whether you are responding as an individual or representing the views of an organisation. We ask responding organisations to register in the Transparency Register. We will publish the submissions of non-registered organisations separately from those of registered ones.

Apart from the questions concerning the identification of the respondent, none of the questions is obligatory. Partial replies to the questions will also be accepted.  Please read the Specific Privacy Statement on how we deal with your personal data and contribution.
