As the world moves into the second century of the activated sludge process and as the UK moves into the AMP 6 funding cycle there is a continued need within the industry for sharing best practice, identifying and taking up innovation and enhancing research to find solutions to existing and future problems.
This conference provides a platform to present to over 200 hundred wastewater professionals from the UK and Europe in an environment that is organised to ensure constructive discussion and healthy debate.

- Problems that will need tackling over the next five years including: P removal for tight consents, removal of endocrines and personal care products and the problems of storm water discharges.
- The broader area of resource recovery including the opportunities for novel products recovery through a biorefinery platform and the potential for better usage of the wastewater infrastructure.
