In the period of December 3-5, 2019 the European Commission represented by the International Cooperation Service Facility in collaboration with the National Agency for Research and Development of Moldova as a coordinator of National Contact Points Network for the Programme Horizon 2020, organised in Chisinau a three-days event: Proposal Writing Camp and Expert Consultations to provide assistance to researchers from the public and private sectors in preparing Horizon 2020 applications.
The goal of the event is to accelerate the participation of Moldovan researchers, representatives of real sector of national economy, civil society and other interested parts in the research and innovation at the European scale in the Framework Programme Horizon 2020 and European Research Area.
Invited experts have planned their agendas for this course in the manner to assure the effective share of knowledge and experience by using an interactive mode, including discussions on large spectrum of topics related to all existing aspects in the Programme Horizon 2020: scientific excellence, financial rules, deliverables, evaluation, impact and implementation of the actions in the frame of the research and innovation project.
During the sessions of the event preliminary selected participants exercised to write their own proposals of the projects benefiting from onsite opportunities to be guided by experienced trainers and seeing strong and weak points on the base of real examples of Call Evaluation Reports. The Expert Consultations were addressed to individual researchers who are targeting a concrete call/topic of Horizon 2020.
Among the selected participants from different organizations from Moldova, the course of Proposal Writing Camp attended a group of National Contact Points in Horizon 2020 from local network: Vitalie Moraru, Lucia Usurelu, Viorica Boaghi, Nelea Postovanu, Sveatoslav Postoronca, Vadim Iatchevichi, Olga Davidenco.
