The Innovative Enterprise week Sofia 2018 – Financial Instruments Fostering Research and Innovation aims at raising awareness of the potential for the financial instruments, facilities and accompanying measures launched, especially under Horizon 2020 to enhance access to finance for research and innovation. The event intends to bring together more than 300 key participants to discuss the opportunities and further needs of financial instruments fostering research and innovation.
A particular focus of the conference will be to enhance interactions between the financial instruments to help innovative firms access finance more easily:Innovfin, COSME’s financial instruments, European Structural andInvestment Funds (ESIF), the European Fund for Strategic Investments (EFSI), European Innovation Council as well as with instruments at regional, national and local level.

The event is an initiative by the European Commission, organised by theBulgarian Presidency of the Council of Europe and the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Bulgaria, run in association with the European Investment Bank (EIB), the European Investment Fund (EIF) and heavily involving the Bulgarian ecosystem, supported by Tech Tour Global.
The conference is taking place at Sofia Tech Park, 14-15 June 2018.
