The workshop will begin with an overview of available data, including statistical data series and monitoring data on Cohesion Policy programmes (financial allocations, expenditure, indicators and targets, lists of beneficiaries published by Managing Authorities).Following these introductory presentations, participants will work in small groups in order to identify possible solutions to specific challenges.  These will include problems linked to working with data covering variable geographies, the aggregation of different data series and the development of effective visualisations building on complex data.  REGIO will provide participants with explanatory material, datasets and questions in advance of the workshop.The workshop will promote collaboration between different partners that have an interest in the use of data to scrutinise and improve the performance of Cohesion Policy programmes. The following stakeholders are encouraged to register for the workshop - evaluators, statisticians, programme managers, academics and researchers, civil society organisations, open data/tech community, data journalists, economic consultants.
