Description:
Chaired by Robert Madelin, Director General of DG CONNECT, the Community of Practice 4th plenary meeting will bring together stakeholders to share ideas and exchange experiences of self- and co-regulation and to discuss its place in the EU regulatory landscape. Registrations are now open!
A multifaceted programme has been drawn up for the upcoming 4th CoP plenary meeting. It will first feature presentations and discussions on SR/CR in the new political landscape. We'll hear from Marianne Klingbeil, Deputy Secretary-General of the Commission, about the better regulation agenda in the Juncker mandate. Three break-out sessions will then provide participants with an insight on the Principles’ relevance to B2B processes, the British Retail Consortium’s framework for voluntary regulations, and on the “Responsible Nano Code”, a business code of conduct for the responsible development and use of nano materials.
Willing to promote good practice in SR/CR and learn from others’ successes and failures? Register to join us on the 13th!
In the meantime, you can check out last plenary meeting’s follow up material, including the speakers’ presentations, as well as summaries of the discussions and the concluding remarks by the Chair.
