The main objective of the conference is to analyse the successful initiatives in maternal and newborn health and those which proved lacking. Participants will also discuss the role that research and innovation can - and should - play in the field of maternal and newborn health.

400 high-level participants are expected to attend the event, including government representatives, major research funders, researchers and innovators, implementers, regulators, healthcare professionals, industry representatives and other experts in the field of maternal and newborn health.

Registration will open in September 2015.
