In spring 2017, DG CONNECT will organise the evaluation of H2020 proposals submitted under ICT-20-2017 on Tools for smart digital content in the creative industries.
ICT-20-2017 - Tools for smart digital content in the creative industries
The Call targets Research and Innovation Actions helping to maximise the potential for re-use and re-purposing of all types of digital content. Proposals should explore novel ways of digital content production and content management in the Creative Industries in sectors such as advertising, architecture, performing and visual arts, craft, design, fashion, films, music, press, publishing, radio, TV and video games.

Please send us an e-mail with a brief description of your experience and expertise in the field of digital content production or content management and mention which type of content you are most familiar with. Please also add the organisation or company you work at, your experience as evaluator (if applicable), your nationality and your expert number*.

Who are we looking for?
Our task is to set up an evaluation panel that represents:
- different areas of expertise
- different sectors of the Creative Industries
- academia/research and industry
- men and women
- experienced and new evaluators
- a variety of nationalities
In order to fulfil all those criteria, we have to start from a very long list and cannot guarantee at this stage that you will receive an invitation. Thank you for your understanding.

Indicative timeline for the evaluation
- The Call for proposals is expected to be open from 8 December 2016 to 25 April 2017.
- We will contact candidates and establish a long list of available experts in January-February 2016.
- The final selection, depending on the number and the content of the proposals submitted, will take place in March-April 2016
- Evaluators will read a number of proposals at their home in May 2017 and then work for one week at the European Commissions' premises in Luxembourg in June.
