EIT Health is participating in the 4YFN event that will take place in Barcelona from 28 June to 1 July.During the MWC2021 mobile fair, Mobile World Capital Barcelona (MWCB) and GSMA, an association that brings together the world’s leading telephone operators, have organised 4YFN (4 Years From Now), a business platform for startups.The 4YFN is an influential startup event and the world’s largest exhibition for the mobile industry. The goal is to support startups, investors and companies to connect and launch new business ventures together.4YFN offers a series of curated programmes focused on startups and innovation in height growth verticals and strategic areas. These programmes offer a combination of exhibition and pitching sessions conference content and networking activities to connect startups with industry leaders and innovators.EIT Health will participate in the event by bringing six start-ups to pitch in front of a live audience on 29 June from 17:30 to 18:30 in the Discovery Area Stage.Join this pitch session to learn more about these rising healthcare start-ups supported by EIT Health: Black Monkey Cooks (Poland), Triumf Health (Finland), Fimohealth (Germany), Mimark (Spain), Meditect (France), Zoundream (Germany).We will also have an booth in which we will promote our activities and programmes and demonstrate our role at the forefront of the health innovation and cutting-edge ideology.Our Director of Innovation, Jorge Fernández, will be also speaking at the Digital Health & Wellness Summit, a one-day conference in the event, at 14:00 on 29 June. Jorge will participate in a panel session to discuss ‘AI in health: use-cases & trustworthiness’.Ignited by the European Commission, a framework called “Trustworthy AI” has emerged in Europe and number of companies are now adopting an ethical approach to their AI developments. This session will explore the practical tools and models that can be used in order to build trustable and reliable AI systems for health and it will be a good opportunity to present our work and research on AI to a wider audience.Cristina Bescós, Managing Director of EIT Health Spain will be participating as speaker in a session organised by Novartis “Novartis BIOME: Reimaging Healthcare Systems through Co-Creation” that will take place on 1 July from 13:00 to 14:00 at the Banco Sabadell Stage.
