European Cyber Security Month 2019

The European Cyber Security Month (ECSM) is the EU's annual cybersecurity awareness campaign that takes place each October across Europe. The ECSM aims to raise awareness about cyber security threats and promote cyber security among citizens and organisations through education and sharing of good practices. The 2019 campaign motto is: "Cybersecurity is a shared responsibility!".

NGI Forum 2019

The Next Generation Internet (NGI) initiative aims to foster a vibrant open Human-centric Internet movement that links research, policy and society for the creation of a better Internet – an Internet that respects fundamental values of privacy, participation and diversity. The Next Generation Internet Forum is the flagship annual event that gathers researchers, innovators and policy makers at work on several fronts to restructure the Internet to be fit for the future.


AAL Forum 2019

As part of their joint mission to support the digital transformation of ageing and care, the Ambient Assisted Living (AAL) Programme has teamed up with the European Innovation Partnership on Active and Healthy Ageing (EIP on AHA) to bring their 2019 Conference of Partners to the AAL Forum.

EIP on AHA is an initiative to foster innovation and digital transformation in the field of active and healthy ageing. The EC funds several EIPs, all set up to help strengthen EU research and innovation.


CONNECT University Session on "Elements of AI"

During this CONNECT University session taking place on 18 September from 10:00 until 12:00 the participants will have the opportunity to discover “Elements of AI”, a course developed by Reaktor together with the University of Helsinki in order to teach the basics of Artificial Intelligence to citizens and EU staff from a wide range of backgrounds. Basic understanding of Artificial Intelligence is extremely valuable in any profession. It is time to demystify AI!
