European research funding for ICT adds real scientific and technological value, studies find

EU funding of research projects in the Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) area over the period 2007-2013 (under the 7th EU Framework Programme, FP7) had a strong added value, according to two studies, which fed into the Commission's evaluation of the programme. More specifically, the studies found that EU-funded ICT projects produced output of a higher quality than the world average, and generated a world-leading level of scientific articles.

H2020 seminar practic de instruire pentru actorii din TIC

Pe 3 martie, 2016, Punctele Nationale de Contact pentru Tehnologii Informationale si Comunicatii, in incinta Academiei de Stiinte a Moldovei au organizat seminarul practic privind scrierea propunerilor de proiecte in cadrul Programului Cadru ORIZONT2020 pentru actorii din sectorul TIC al R. Moldova.

La seminar au participat 12 reprezentanti ai companiilor nationale.

The European Commission (DG CONNECT) will be holding a webinar on 25 January from 11.00 to 12.00 on the call topic "Internet of Things : IoT-01-2016: Large Scale Pilots Pilot 1: Smart living environments for ageing well".
