Who are we?

We are Climate-KIC, one of the Knowledge & Innovation Communities (KICs) set up by the European Institute of Innovation & Technology (EIT). Our KIC is focused on the challenge of fighting climate change by encouraging innovation and supporting budding entrepreneurs who are keen to start new businesses in the renewable energy sector. We are all about ACTION so this MOOC is designed to give you the knowledge and tools you need to make a difference.

Who is the MOOC for

This learning resource is for anyone with an interest in renewable energy and fighting climate change. The materials in this MOOC have been designed at the ‘introductory’ level.  No prior knowledge is assumed and we have tried to keep everything as clear and straightforward as possible.  

If you want to take action, we are here to help! It does not matter if this action is at the personal level, community level or if you want to start your own business and help change the world!

What’s a MOOC?

A MOOC is a Massive Open Online Course, available (and free!) to everyone. The aim is to bring together thousands of people and give them free access to quality online learning materials. The result is a great learning experience that puts you in the perfect place to take ACTION! And it also works really well on tablets and smartphones.
