The Digital Single Market Strategy will provide businesses and entrepreneurs with new opportunities to scale up across Europe and grow global. As a driver for growth, digital should also be embraced by SMEs and microenterprises to enable them to innovate and remain competitive.

ICT innovation vouchers are one of the tools regions can implement to support microenterprises and SMEs to maximise the potential offered by the digital economy. ICT innovation vouchers are an effective incentive for SMEs and microenterprises to innovate by investing in digital technologies and online services.

Already tested and successfully implemented in various regions, the ICT Innovation vouchers are bound to expand into other regions and Member States across Europe.

Why should you attend?

Based on feedback from regions, the workshop will give to participants the opportunity to learn more about:

  • What are the regions' experience in implementing ICT innovation vouchers scheme
  • What are the best practices as well as pitfalls to avoid
  • The recently launched INNOVOUCHER project which objective is to promote the transnational exchange of innovation services

Those points will be addressed by high-profile speakers from across Europe, under the chair of Christine Simon (DG Connect):

  • Neoklis Stamkos, KEPA, Business and Cultural Development Agency, Greece
