Description:
The Future and Emerging Technologies (FET) IdeAcademy week offers a week-long online course presenting a unique mix of inspirational and practical contents for researchers interested in disruptive projects.
When: 27 - 30 October, 2020
IdeAcademy Week is an event mixing visibility and networking activities, added-value training and dissemination of trends in future and emerging technologies (FET). The programme aims on providing valuable information to researchers in multidisciplinary areas (e.g. computing, artificial intelligence, life sciences, environmental sciences, biotechnology, bionics, chemistry, physics, mathematics, humanities, and social sciences) – especially from the on-going Horizon2020 projects. In addition, high-tech SMEs and companies, policy makers or people interested into prospective activities, creativity and ideation are highly welcomed as well.
This edition offers a 4-day course focused on the top technology trends for long-term research and development impact. It presents successful strategies for building and operating research and development projects with strong positive environmental and social impact. The participant will learn how to increase chances to reach long-term scope of a project, how to get financial support, how to reach interdisciplinarity, or how to leverage deep-tech collaboration and community building around new technological paradigms.
All events will be held online. The platform instructions and information will be sent to the participants upon their registration.
More details can be found in the agenda.
The FET IdeaAcademy week is organised by PREFET, a FET-Open project specialized on proactive detecting, engaging and supporting researchers with potential to create a long-term innovation of great benefit for society.
