On-line webinar

About this EventDid you miss our "Coping with COVID-19" webinar in April? Well you're in luck! Join us for a repeat of this webinar and learn:

  • How stress impacts the body;
  • How COVID-19 is particularly challenging for folks who experience food and eating challenges;
  • Strategies for managing stress in ways that support our relationships with food and our bodies.

There is a lot of information circulating online about how to manage stress and take care of our physical and mental health during this uncertain time. Unfortunately, a lot of this information is based in diet culture and can do more harm than good, particularly for folks dealing with food and body image challenges.This webinar is based in the Health at Every Size® framework and will be facilitated by Kaitlyn Axelrod, MSW, RSW (Program & Outreach Coordinator at Sheena's Place).Note: This is an educational webinar, not a therapeutic group. Eating disorder diagnoses, symptoms, and specific foods will be discussed.
