Message from the ICT 2020 Organising Team: The COVID-19 crisis has led European governments to take exceptional measures to avoid the spread of the disease and to keep the number of deaths as low as possible. Even though these efforts and solidarity between European partners has led to improvements and containment and to confinement measures being lifted, the virus is still present and spreading across the continent.

WEBseries for Broadband Competence Offices: 'Enabling conditions' and '5G'

This series of webinars (until June 30th, 2020) will cover enabling conditions and 5G. The sessions on enabling conditions will focus on the conditions Member States will need to meet in connection with broadband programming under the new multiannual financial framework (MFF). The sessions on 5G will address use cases as well as the development of 5G communities. Registration is open to all members of the European Broadband Competence Offices (BCOs) Network. The agenda will be made available to participants directly.

Webinar - AI4Cities global Open Market Consultation

The AI4Cities project brings together six European cities and regions looking for AI solutions in the fields of mobility and energy to accelerate their path to carbon neutrality. Helsinki, Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Paris Region, Stavanger and Tallinn (‘The Buyers Group’) are following a pre-commercial procurement (PCP) approach to challenge suppliers that can respond to these needs. Throughout the whole challenge-based procurement, a total of 4.6 million euros will be divided among the selected suppliers.
